Yellow color mineral, of different hues, it has pyramid habit, and it is often found massive and stalactitic. Sulphur has lower hardness and density, and the hardness ranges from 1.5 to 2.5, and density, from 2.05 to 2.09.

Native sulphur is common in active volcanism area. It is formed by smoker deposition released in volcano craters.

Use

Sulphur is used in fertilizers, and it is a powder ingredient, used in paper manufacturing, laxative medications, explosives and insecticides.
